Interested in becoming an Umpire?  To register to become an Umpire please go to the Softball BC website and click on Umpire then Certification Clinics. Payment can be made online individually or through your local Association (always check with them first). If your Association pays for your clinic please contact them and they will make arrangements to pay. Types of clinics:

Refresher Clinic –  All returning umpires are required to take the refresher each season.
Level 1 – No experience necessary!
Level 2 – Must be a certified Level 1 Umpire for a minimum of 2 years with approval from your local Association and District UIC. Capable of umpiring adult fastpitch.
Level 3 – Must be a Certified Level 2 Umpire for a minimum of 2 years with a recommendation from the District 1 UIC. Capable of Umpiring adult fastpitch and National Championships at the U19 level.
Level 4 – Must be a certified Level 3 Umpire for the past 2 years with a recommendation by the Provincial UIC.
