2019 Sparkler College Recruiting Tournament

The U19 Victoria Devils are holding tryouts on Sunday, February 17th from 10:30am -12pm at the EagleRidge dry floor arena at City Center Park in Langford BC.  This tryout is open to any players born 2000 and up.  This is a national recruiting tournament played in front of college coaches from across the US.   The team is guaranteed a minimum of 6 games.  As this is a not part of the regular U19 team schedule the costs will be above that of the regular season fees.

5.1.1 The Association shall hold an Annual General Meeting, hereinafter referred to as the A.G.M., during the month of November each year, and the time and place of the A.G.M. shall be conveyed to the voting membership at least fourteen (14) days in advance of the meeting.

5.3.1 The purpose of the A.G.M. is:

  1. To provide information to the members
  2. To consider amendments to the constitution, bylaws and special operating rules.
  3. To present the financial statement for the previous fiscal period.
  4. To conduct general business.
  5. to set a date for the next A.G.M.

2019 BC High Performance ID Camp

We are pleased to be hosting this hugely successful camp again in 2019.  General registration is now open, this camp will sell out fast.

Softball is in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and the current coaching staff for the Canadian National Team will be the headline coaches for the second annual BC High Performance Spring Camp. This camp will also include current National players, the National Teams Mental Performance Coach and national pool coaches.

The high performance camps schedule will include:

  • Athletes working closely with future Canadian Olympic Team members and coaches
  • 13-15 hours of training and instruction
  • 3-4 games with National Team Coaches and athletes working with teams
  • 2-3 hours of Mental Performance training
  • 2-3 hours of Physical training and recovery
  • Athletes and Coach’s Talk on College recruitment and information on National Team Program

The Camp will be held indoors at Arbutus Meadows Training Center 1515 Island Hwy E, Nanoose Bay BC V9P 9A3 a 225ftx175ft turfed facility.
